Brit Hume
Brit Hume is anchor of cable television's highest rated political program, "Special Report with Brit Hume". He is also the managing editor of FNC's Washington, D.C. bureau, and a regular panelist on FOX’s weekly public affairs program, "FOX News Sunday". Prior to joining Fox News in 1996, Hume was with ABC News for 23 years. During those years, he acted as chief White House correspondent, contributing to several ABC News programs including "World News Tonight with Peter Jennings", "Nightline", "This Week" and various specials for the news division. Prior to joining ABC, Hume reported for United Press International (UPI), The Hartford Times and the Baltimore Evening Sun. Brit is also the recipient of several journalistic awards, including the 2003 Sol Taishoff Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism from the National Press Foundation and a 1991 Emmy Award for his coverage of the Gulf War. He was twice named "The Best in the Business" by the American Journalism Review for his extensive news coverage of the White House.
