Joe Johns is CNN's congressional correspondent. Based in the network's Washington, D.C., bureau, Johns joined CNN in January 2004 after covering Capitol Hill for NBC News for more than 10 years. He is also a frequent host of CNN's public-affairs program, On the Story.
