about moderator Jim McDowell


I became a Ram's fan in about 1952 or 1953. I was at my 
grandfather's house and they were on TV and I was really captured 
by those helmets with the horns. There have been a lot of good 
memories, but as I look back my favorite era has to be the days of 
the blue and white uniforms when George Allen was the coach, 
Gabe was leading the offense and the Deacon was secretary of 
defense.

My other interests are NHL hockey (Philadelphia Flyers), baseball 
(New York Yankees) and music (Duane Eddy and BR5-49). I am 
married with 2 sons and I make my living as an MVS Systems 
Programmer at Purdue University.
