Carol Costello is a Washington DC based correspondent for CNN. Costello serves as a contributor to CNN's American Morning. Costello previously served as newsreader on CNN's flagship morning program American Morning, and as anchor of CNN's early morning program Daybreak. She joined the CNN in 2001 from WJLA in Washington, D.C.
