Jami Floyd joined Court TV as host of the daily trial program Trial Heat (11am-1pm) in February 2005. Floyd had previously been an anchor and correspondent at the network from 1996-1998, covering major, national stories such as the O.J. Simpson trial, the Oklahoma City bombing trials, and the infamous "Nanny Murder Trial” (Mass. v. Louise Woodward), as well as several landmark cases involving the tobacco industry.
