Prior to that Francis was a general assignment reporter for CNBC, covering issues surrounding energy including oil and gasoline pricing, supply-and-demand and the large corporations behind these issues, as well as the telecommunications industry where she focuses on various issues such as the Bells and wireless communications. Francis is based at the network's global headquarters in N.J.
